To catch up with the wave of new car purchases , major car dealers in the province are promoting many promotional programs to stimulate consumption such as: 50% reduction in registration fees, free auto insurance, exchange old cars for new cars at good prices, giving vouchers (discount coupons) for car care and beauty with many attractive incentives.

Through increasing activities, promotional programs are a lever to stimulate market demand, continuing the growth in sales in recent months. Mr. Nguyen Trong Tien (55/6 Phan Dang Luu, Pleiku City) said: "Before deciding to buy a Honda CR-V, in addition to factors such as brand reputation, quality, design, price, I am interested in the promotional programs being applied at the time of buying the car.

When signing the car purchase contract, I enjoyed many incentives from the company's and dealer's programs, so I am very satisfied with this choice."

According to records, the total market capacity in the first 3 months of 2025 was 1,100 vehicles, including 444 vehicles in January, 299 vehicles in February, and 357 vehicles in March. Most of the major auto dealers in the province have appropriate business strategies to maintain positive growth in sales as planned, maintaining market share in the context of increasing competition and brand diversity such as: Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, Kia, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Ford, Suzuki, Isuzu, Nissan, MG, Peugeot, Lexus, Vinfast, Mecedes Benz...

Regarding the business results, Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh - General Director of Honda Auto Gia Lai (519A Le Duan, Pleiku City) said: "In recent months, the Gia Lai auto market has had many favorable factors due to the fact that key agricultural products have kept good prices, people have stable cash flow, so the demand for buying cars has increased, and purchasing power is evenly distributed in both urban and rural areas. The group of young customers with good income buying cars is increasing. Thanks to that, Honda Auto Gia Lai's car sales in April 2025 reached 88 units, an increase of 30% over the same period, especially the BR-V, HR-V, Civic, CR-V lines".

According to forecasts from major auto dealers in the province, the demand for personal cars is currently focused on models with price segments from 500 million VND to 800 million VND. This could be a new wave, creating momentum for growth in car sales in the coming time. Especially, in the context of preparing to merge the province, inter-regional connectivity from the plains to the highlands will open up new development opportunities for the economy.

Following the market trend, Mr. Tran Van Thinh - General Director of Toyota Gia Lai (130 Vo Nguyen Giap, Pleiku City) shared: "Following the needs of customers, Toyota Gia Lai is currently applying a program of 50% discount on registration fees, giving away accessories, giving away body insurance, giving away vouchers for car care and beauty with many incentives".

Mr. Thinh also said that this program applies to car models with prices ranging from 500 million VND to 800 million VND such as: Yaris, Cross, Veloz, Vios, Avanza. At the same time, the dealer is also actively implementing a test drive program, exchanging old for new with good prices to encourage customers to upgrade and upgrade their cars.

Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh - General Director of Honda Auto Gia Lai (519A Le Duan, Pleiku City) added: "From the actual operations at the showroom and related activities, it shows that although the peak season has passed, the number of customers coming directly to the showroom to see cars and learn about cars is still increasing steadily.

Customers have financial preparation and car purchase plans, especially older customers who want to buy personal cars when they retire early. Most customers tend to choose car models with price segments from 690 million VND to more than 800 million VND, or over 1 billion VND.
