The main quarantine contents of this Regulation include the contents related to procedures on: quarantine (including adjustments to quarantine document forms); medical inspection; isolation and monitoring/tracking; quarantine handling; rejection - destruction of goods violating quarantine regulations. The main contents of integrated monitoring procedures stated in the Regulation include: Contents of cooperation and coordination between relevant agencies (e.g. Customs, Immigration); use of information technology to support monitoring; implementation of quarantine information systems; quarantine measures in the country of origin; quarantine application procedures for importers; procedures for inspection and treatment of diseases and pests in the country of origin; monitoring of quarantine results in the country of origin.
The detailed content of Regulation No. 14/2024 of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency is attached (original Indonesian Regulation and English translation for reference) for relevant enterprises to study and implement. To avoid risks for Vietnamese export goods subject to quarantine when implementing this new Quarantine Regulation, enterprises need to proactively study and implement the contents related to Regulation No. 14/2024 of Indonesia; closely coordinate with Indonesian import enterprises in implementing the new quarantine regulations. Closely contact the State management agency in charge of the quarantine sector of Vietnam ( Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ) for instructions on implementing the new quarantine regulations of Indonesia or the Vietnam Trade Office in Indonesia for supporting information.
