Tottenham targets 3 strikers to replace Son Heung-min

Tottenham are planning personnel in the context of possibly parting ways with Son Heung-min in the summer of 2025.

Son's contract with Tottenham expires next summer. MLS side Los Angeles FC are preparing to make an offer to Tottenham for Son this summer. The Daily Mail lists three players in Tottenham's sights as Igor Paixao, Anthony Gordon and Rafael Leao.

First up is Paixao, who is being chased by Tottenham, Leeds United and Marseille. The Feyenoord striker's transfer fee is believed to be around £28m. Paixao scored 16 goals and provided 14 assists in the Eredivisie last season.

The Brazilian has a similar style of play to Son, preferring to dribble from the wing into the middle and shoot. At 25, Paixao promises to develop even more in the coming years.

Next is Newcastle's Anthony Gordon. The Magpies spent £40 million to bring him in to play in January 2023. With great potential, Newcastle is unlikely to let Gordon leave for less than £50 million. In addition, if they liquidate Alexander Isak, Newcastle will prevent Gordon from finding a new destination.

Finally, Rafael Leao, the striker has expressed his desire to leave AC Milan. At 26, Leao is at the peak of his career. If he joins Tottenham, the Portuguese striker will certainly make a big splash in the Premier League.

Of the three targets, Leao could cost Tottenham the most money. Transfermarkt values him at over £60m.
