On September 17, 2024, on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Luang Prabang (TLSQ) and the Vietnam Business Association in Northern Laos visited teachers and nuns and presented gifts to students of the Luang Prabang Provincial School for the Disabled.

Speaking at the visit, Consul General Kieu Thi Hang Phuc highlighted the historical origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival, a beautiful cultural and traditional feature of the Vietnamese people. The Mid-Autumn Festival is an occasion for family members to gather and express their gratitude to each other, children and grandchildren to express their gratitude to their grandparents and parents, and adults to care for and encourage their children to strive to study, practice and improve in life.

Consul General Kieu Thi Hang Phuc shared the difficulties and hardships of the teachers and nuns who always loved, cared for, and educated the children; caring for and educating normal people is already very difficult, but here the children are all disabled, so caring for and educating them will be much more difficult.
