(BDO) On the morning of June 2, the Economic - Budget Committee Supervision Delegation of the Provincial People's Council worked with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Provincial Farmers' Association on the performance of the Science and Technology Development Fund and the Farmers' Support Fund (FAF).

Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hanh, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, spoke at the working session with the Science and Technology Development Fund and the People's Council.

Reporting at the meeting, the leader of the People's Credit Fund said that from the central budget capital, by the end of 2022, the total capital of the fund was 155,125 billion VND. The fund has resolved loans for 2,933 households with nearly 148 billion VND...

Delegates expressed their opinions on the effectiveness of applying science and technology topics into practice, especially in the fields of reducing emissions, environmental pollution, reducing investment costs, and difficulties in setting up reserve funds.

Speaking at the meeting, the representative of the Supervisory Delegation acknowledged the opinions and recommendations of the Science and Technology Development Fund and the People's Council; and said that they would soon submit them to the competent authority for consideration and resolution. The representative of the Delegation also requested the two funds to inspect and supervise loan projects and the efficiency of capital use by enterprises borrowing capital from the two funds; creating favorable conditions for economic sectors to have the opportunity to access preferential capital sources.
