" Hanoi is a place where a thousand years of history and modern vitality intersect, a harmonious combination of tradition, lush green nature and rich cuisine, from street vendors to high-class restaurants honored by Michelin," T+L commented.

The magazine also emphasized the reasonable travel costs if choosing this destination, with round-trip tickets from New York (USA) starting from only 870 USD (22.7 million VND) and 3-star hotel prices ranging from 125-150 USD (3.2-3.9 million VND)/night in the fall when Hanoi's weather is at its best of the year.

Topping the list is Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Laos known for its historic temples, beautiful landscapes and local charm. Other destinations include Toronto (Canada), Grand Est (France), Armenia, Kenya, Brisbane (Australia), Madeira (Portugal), Tunisia, Etyek (Hungary), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Panama, Valparaíso (Chile), Albania and Donegal (Ireland).
