Responding to the call for Action Month for Children in 2023 and towards the celebration of International Children's Day on June 1, Vietnam Children's Magazine - the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights has officially launched a drawing contest, with the theme "Dream House" with the message, wishing that children, wherever they are, can live in happy, warm homes with full living and development conditions.
The contest aims to create a useful and interesting playground for children, helping them develop their imagination and creativity, and express their sharing with disadvantaged children, orphans, and children in mountainous areas, who wish to live in solid and warm houses.
Delegates visited the exhibition and contestants came to receive awards.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Huy - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Children Magazine, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said: “We are very surprised, touched and happy that the first contest has received enthusiastic response and participation from many students, parents;Education sector; Press agencies, ... interested, supported and participated.
Through the contest, I hope that, in addition to creating and helping children have a useful and interesting playground that promotes creativity, this is also an opportunity for them to express their wishes and aspirations about life, the future and their self-worth through the form of painting."
The "Dream House" contest - 2023 took place with two rounds: Preliminary and Final. The preliminary round selected 1,511 best paintings from more than 13,000 paintings by more than 10,000 students from many localities across the country, entering the final round.
Sponsor representative awarded the Promising Prize to the winning candidates.
At the Final Round, the Jury and Organizing Committee selected: 01 Special Prize; 02 First Prizes; 01 Outstanding Prize for students with disabilities, 03 Second Prizes; 05 Third Prizes; 10 Encouragement Prizes; 01 Prize for the youngest contestant with the most adorable work; 03 Online Voting Prizes and 200 works competing for the Promising Prize.
