Vietnam Construction and Human Resources Joint Stock Company (Code CMS) was established in 2007, formerly known as Cavico Construction, Human Resources and Services Joint Stock Company. On the stock market, the stock code CMS has attracted the attention of investors because it has had times of skyrocketing and falling to the bottom.

Specifically, before September 2021, CMS code was only traded around the price range of over 4,500 VND/share for 2 years. However, in just a few short months, CMS climbed to 34,800 VND/share on December 13, 2021.

After that, CMS plummeted to trading around the par value of VND10,000/share for nearly a year and from the beginning of 2023, it has only been defending around the price of VND5,500/share.

As of May 15, 2023, CMS code was only priced at VND 5,100/share, but then it continuously increased to the ceiling and peaked at VND 31,600/share in the trading session on September 19, 2023. Thus, after only 4 months of trading, CMS code has increased 6 times in value.

Regarding the business situation, according to the audited semi-annual financial report for 2023, CMS achieved net revenue of only VND 24.4 billion, down 55% over the same period. The company's net profit was only VND 1 billion, 3 times higher than the self-prepared financial report.

It can be seen that this business result is not bright enough to push CMS stock price up 6 times in just 4 months. It is worth mentioning that during the time CMS increased in price, a major shareholder of CMS, Mr. Pham Van Xuyen, sold 750,000 shares in the sessions of August 31 and September 5 to reduce his ownership ratio from 7.86% to 4.91%.

At the end of the second quarter, CMS's total assets were VND461.7 billion. Of which, liabilities accounted for VND115.8 billion while equity accounted for VND345.8 billion.
