Training on "Improving the quality of loan activities from the Social Policy Bank"

(HBĐT) - On September 19, in Mai Chau district, the Vietnam Youth Support Center coordinated with the Hoa Binh Provincial Youth Union and Mai Chau District Youth Union to organize a training conference on "Improving the quality of loan activities from the Social Policy Bank" in 2023.

The conference was attended by 80 students who are Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the Youth Union of communes and towns, and Heads of Savings and Loan Groups managed by the Mai Chau District Youth Union.

At the conference, Comrade Cai Quang Binh - Director of the Vietnam Youth Support Center exchanged basic information on the situation and management of capital entrusted to the VBSP managed by the Youth Union nationwide. Sharing solutions to improve the quality of management and use of loans managed by the Youth Union, focusing on the following contents: Propaganda and mobilization work; training, inspection and supervision of the activities of savings and loan groups (TK&VV), the Management Board and members of the TK&VV groups; activities coordinated with the VBSP in the locality; orientation to support the implementation of economic development models for youth and policy households, poor and near-poor households in the locality associated with the capital entrusted to the VBSP and resources from the National Target Programs on sustainable poverty reduction; socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Through the training, the Youth Union staff and the Management Board of Savings and Credit Groups of communes and towns managed by the Youth Union in Mai Chau district have clearly understood their functions and tasks in the process of implementing policy credit in the area; grasped the Party and State's policies and guidelines on social policy credit, especially the new regimes and policies that have been amended and supplemented in recent times...
