Training to improve professional capacity of primary school teachers

On October 11, the Department of Education and Training of the province organized a training conference to improve the capacity of managers and teachers of Music and Fine Arts through STEAM education activities; improve the teaching capacity of Information Technology and English for key primary school teachers in disadvantaged areas, meeting the 2018 General Education Program, school year 2025-2026.

The training was attended by more than 320 staff and teachers from 241 primary education institutions in the province. The trainees learned about STEAM education in teaching Fine Arts and Music; group discussions on the role of STEAM education in developing students' creativity; guidance on developing STEAM lesson plans; teaching methods and testing and assessing students' abilities in teaching Information Technology; introduction to artificial intelligence; some GenAI tools; using AI to develop lesson plans, create test and assessment questions; teaching and developing English proficiency in difficult conditions.

Through the training program, it contributes to improving professional capacity, pedagogical skills and the ability to apply technology in teaching for primary school staff and teachers, especially teachers in disadvantaged areas. This is also an opportunity for teachers to exchange experiences, update modern educational trends, effectively apply STEAM educational methods and artificial intelligence technology in teaching, meeting the requirements of innovation in the 2018 General Education Program.
