Vocational training on building cultural life for grassroots staff

From August 12 to August 24, 2024, the Department of Culture and Sports will coordinate with the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office to organize training courses on new rural area construction knowledge for commune and village officials in Ninh Binh province, phase I, 2024, with the topic: "Improving the quality of rural cultural life, preserving traditional values".

The first training course on new rural construction in 2024 was organized with 6 training courses in 6 districts in the province. Each training course had an average of over 200 participants - leaders, commune-level officials and heads of development boards of villages, hamlets and hamlets. The topic "Improving the quality of rural cultural life, preserving traditional values" was one of 07 topics in the training courses, attracting a large number of participants, exchanges and discussions of the students.

Through the topic, the trainees are equipped and improved with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure the direction, mobilization, propaganda and organization of the implementation of cultural criteria in the construction of new rural areas, building cultural life, implementing cultural lifestyle, grassroots civilization, preserving and promoting traditional cultural values ​​in the locality... effectively, contributing significantly to the completion of the goals of new rural construction of Ninh Binh province. At the same time, the training course also creates opportunities for trainees to share practical experiences, exchange information to support, connect and coordinate with each other in performing tasks at the grassroots level.

It can be said that after more than 10 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Ninh Binh province, culture has become one of the contents that authorities at all levels, agencies and organizations have paid attention to and achieved many results. The work of building cultural life has contributed to raising awareness and responsibility of people in the community. Grassroots cultural and sports institutions have been paid attention to, invested in, built and completed; cultural and artistic activities, mass sports and physical training are increasingly vivid, rich, diverse and attractive, attracting a large number of people to participate. Many solutions have been built and implemented flexibly, to both inherit and promote traditional cultural values ​​and selectively absorb new cultural values ​​in implementing the goals of new rural construction. Thereby raising awareness of preserving cultural identity, improving people's spiritual life, making the picture of new rural areas more and more vivid.

In the coming time, the Department of Culture and Sports will continue to coordinate with relevant departments, branches, agencies and units to further improve the quality of rural cultural life, towards the goal of Ninh Binh province completing the task of building new rural areas./.
