The music night is a profound tribute to the talented son of Ninh Binh - musician Van Cao, a great symbol of modern Vietnamese music in the 20th century. He is the author of melodies of great significance to the era, a multi-talented artist who left a strong mark in all three fields: music, poetry and painting.

The program is built in three parts with a consistent structure, rich in artistic colors. “Revolutionary Autumn” recreates Van Cao’s creative journey during the boiling years of the revolution, when his music went hand in hand with the historical changes of the nation. “Van Cao – a poetic soul in the midst of war” takes the audience back to the pre-war period with love songs, romantic poems imbued with lyricism. “Homeland, Country – Eternal Desire” is a space for the songs that made Van Cao’s name, while introducing new works about Ninh Binh – the land of a thousand-year heritage.

The audience was led through many layers of emotions: From the passionate, lyrical atmosphere of “Autumn Solitude”, “Suoi Mo”, “My Village – Harvest Day”, to the bustling, hopeful atmosphere of “The First Spring”, “Ben Xuan – Dan Chim Viet”. The space of the music night was more lively with immortal epics such as “Praise to President Ho”, “Epic of Lo River”, “Vietnamese Soldiers”…
