With the aim of deploying and implementing well environmental sanitation measures, disease prevention and control, and water treatment after storm No. 11 in the province to minimize the risk of environmental pollution and disease outbreaks affecting people's health in areas affected by storms and floods in the province.
Accordingly, the Center conducts reviews and assessments of environmental pollution risks, risks of pollution of domestic sources affecting public health in hamlets, residential groups, communes, wards, locations affected by storms, floods, landslides due to rain in the province to take environmental treatment measures to prevent the risk of disease outbreaks after storms and floods and guide water treatment according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health . Strengthen communication and health education for people in storm- and flood-affected areas on environmental sanitation measures, water source sanitation, disease prevention measures, and improve people's health. At the same time, guide, direct, supervise, and support health stations and health centers to deploy and implement environmental sanitation measures, disease prevention and control after storms in the province.
At the same time, instruct the Health Centers and Commune Health Stations to continue advising local authorities to direct local units to coordinate in immediately implementing environmental sanitation activities after floods, ensuring that the environment is cleaned as water recedes.

On October 8, 2025, The Center for Disease Control has organized the supervision of environmental sanitation, treatment of flooded domestic water and disease prevention and control during the storm and flood season in Kim Dong commune, Hoa An commune, Hoang Tung Medical Station under Thuc Phan Ward Medical Station. Distributed Aquatabs 67mg water disinfectant tablets to households in Song Bang hamlet (Kim Dong commune), Ben Do hamlet (Thuc Phan ward) affected by storm No. 11 and instructed people on environmental sanitation, water disinfection and health care. Conducted environmental disinfection spraying at the premises of the Department of Health's Professional Training Facility, the Department of Population, and the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene.
Previously , on October 5, the Provincial Center for Disease Control continued to distribute and distribute 18,600 Aquatabs 67mg water disinfectant tablets (2nd time) to 12 commune and ward health stations in the province. Of which, Hoa An commune health station was allocated the most with 10,000 tablets, the remaining health stations were allocated from 500 - 2,000 tablets.
