Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City Nguyen Van Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee of Da Nang City Nguyen Dinh Vinh and Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Le Trung Chinh co-chaired the conference.

Reporting on the summary of the work situation in the first 6 months of the year and the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh said that in the first 6 months of 2025, despite many difficulties and challenges, the work situation of the city's Party Committee continued to maintain stability and achieved positive results.

The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system was focused on. The work of arranging the organizational apparatus and the two-level government model was carried out urgently and resolutely, basically completing the tasks as required by the Central Committee and achieving high consensus. The work of preparing for the Party Congresses at all levels was carried out synchronously and comprehensively in terms of documents, personnel, organization and service.

The work of creating sources and developing party members in the city continues to receive strong direction from Party committees and organizations at all levels, and is being implemented synchronously with many solutions, achieving positive results, the highest since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term. The City Party Committee's program of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline enforcement in 2025 has been completed.

The economy in the first 6 months of the year recorded positive recovery in most sectors. The total product in the area (GRDP at comparable prices) is estimated to increase by 11.3%; Da Nang's economic structure has shifted towards services-industry-agriculture, of which services account for 70.6%; industry and construction 18.8%; agriculture, forestry and fishery 1.8%.

The service and tourism sectors continue to develop strongly with many new, unique and vibrant activities, festivals and tourism products; restore and open new international and domestic flights and sea tourism routes to Da Nang; actively promote Da Nang tourism in a number of key international markets.

Investment promotion, foreign affairs and international cooperation activities are promoted. The city continues to improve the investment environment, support projects operating in the area to expand business activities, increase investment capital; strengthen dialogue and meetings with businesses to resolve difficulties and obstacles; promote investment promotion activities...

The conference listened to the Summary Report of the presentations and received and explained the contents of the work situation in the first 6 months of the year, the directions and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; on that basis, focused on discussing and exchanging to clarify the achieved results as well as proposals and recommendations for effectively implementing the key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City, requested Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations and the entire city's political system to continue to promote the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system.

Organize to thoroughly grasp, implement, summarize and seriously and fully summarize the policies and resolutions of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee.

Focus on leadership, direction, and promptly complete the contents and tasks according to the schedule and requirements set forth in the resolutions, conclusions, and directive documents of the Central Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, and Central Steering Committee on summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW.

Focus on leading and directing the preparation of contents and conditions to serve the good organization of the 2-level local government model from July 1, 2025. Prepare conditions to successfully organize party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 45-CT/TW of the Politburo.

Review, supplement, adjust and focus on completing the goals, targets and tasks of Da Nang city (new) in 2025, striving to achieve double-digit GRDP growth in 2025.

Urgently research and develop an overall development orientation for the (new) Da Nang city in the direction of ensuring harmonious and balanced development, maximizing the advantages and characteristics of the locality. In particular, actively support investors to remove difficulties and obstacles, speed up the implementation of investment procedures for large projects.

Urgently implement Decision No. 1142/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone. Effectively implement Resolution No. 29-NQ/TU dated April 26, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the construction of the Vietnam International Financial Center in Da Nang City and issue a Plan to implement the National Assembly's Resolution on the International Financial Center in Vietnam.

Direct strict implementation of regulations on protecting state secrets, information security, and network security in the process of arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus and administrative units at all levels and preparing for party congresses at all levels.
