
The telegram sent to the Secretaries and Chairmen of the People's Committees of Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces; Ministers of National Defense, Public Security, Agriculture and Environment, Finance, Construction, Industry and Trade, Education and Training, and Health, stated: Currently, the flood situation in Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces is very complicated. According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the flood on the Kon River continues to rise and is above alert level 3, the Ba River at Phu Lam station continues to rise and is above alert level 3 and is equal to the historical flood level in 1993.
To proactively prevent, avoid and respond to exceptionally large floods and emergency floods to ensure the safety of people's lives and minimize property damage, the Prime Minister requests the Secretaries and Chairmen of the People's Committees of the above-mentioned provinces and the Ministries and branches to continue to focus on drastic and effective implementation according to the Prime Minister's direction in Official Dispatches No. 217/CD-TTg, 218/CD-TTg, 219/CD-TTg of the Prime Minister, in which urgently carry out the following urgent tasks: Mobilize military forces, police and other forces, all means, by all measures to immediately approach deeply flooded, divided, isolated and landslide-affected residential areas to promptly relocate and evacuate people to safety.
Ensure food, drinking water, and essential necessities in areas where people are evacuated and relocated, so that people do not go hungry, get cold, or lack drinking water... Proactively direct the safe operation of hydroelectric and irrigation reservoirs to ensure effective flood reduction and reduction for downstream areas, and absolutely do not allow unsafe dams to occur. Strengthen forces to control, support, guide, and coordinate traffic from afar to divert traffic, and resolutely do not let people and vehicles enter areas with deep flooding and landslides. Closely monitor the developments of especially heavy rains and floods, and emergency floods; promptly inform authorities and people at all levels to proactively prevent and avoid them to the highest possible extent.

Ministers of the Ministries of National Defense and Finance promptly provide means and equipment at the request of localities to support overcoming consequences when requested by localities.
Ministries and branches, according to their functions, tasks and authority, proactively coordinate with localities to direct competent agencies to deploy work to prevent, combat and respond to especially heavy rains and floods, limiting damage.
Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, and Vietnam News Agency increase the time and promptly report information on natural disaster situations and response direction of functional agencies.
The Government Office monitors and urges ministries and localities to seriously implement this Official Dispatch; promptly reports to the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister in charge on urgent and arising issues.
