Opening of the 1st Congress of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 with the theme: "Solidarity-Democracy-Discipline-Breakthrough-Development".

Attending the opening ceremony of the Congress were 447 official delegates representing 94,257 party members in the entire Tay Ninh Party Committee, including 66 ex-officio delegates and 382 appointed delegates.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet affirmed that the 1st Congress of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee is an important historical milestone; the first congress after the Provincial Party Committee, together with the whole country, carried out the revolution of rearranging and streamlining the apparatus of the political system; merging the two provinces of Long An and Tay Ninh and rearranging the commune-level administrative units.

The merger of the provinces opens up a new development space, maximizing the potential, advantages and resources of both lands with rich revolutionary traditions, many similarities in history, culture and development aspirations, representing the spirit of "courage and resilience" in the fight against foreign invaders, self-reliance in labor and production, always taking the lead in the cause of innovation; is the foundation for the province to enter a period of breakthrough and sustainable development, accompanying the whole country to enter a new era - the era of national growth.

During the past term, Tay Ninh, together with the whole country, steadfastly overcame the Covid-19 pandemic; completed the historic task of reorganizing the apparatus and administrative units, initially operating stably, with economic growth higher than the national average.

Specifically, in the first 9 months of 2025, economic growth reached 9.52%, leading the southern provinces; economic structure shifted in the right direction; most targets were achieved and exceeded the Resolution of the Congress; people's lives were improved; national defense and security were maintained; the political system was firmly consolidated, creating consensus and trust of the people and the business community.

The Party's military, civilian and political delegation congratulated the congress.

The achievements have affirmed the innovation and strong rise as the foundation for Tay Ninh to become one of the dynamic localities with rich development potential in the Southeast region and the whole country, and are a solid premise for Tay Ninh to continue to develop rapidly, sustainably and comprehensively in the new period.

This Congress has a very important task of correctly assessing the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term, pointing out the basic achievements, shortcomings, weaknesses, causes, and drawing lessons for the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Executive Committee in the new term.
