Opening the program with the song Lonely Lover (Dai Phuong Trang), Thai Thuy Linh immediately received applause. Meritorious Artist Hong Lien shared that she had heard many people sing this song but this was the first time she saw Thai Thuy Linh perform it in a new style, reminding people of their youth.

“I have listened to yellow music since I was born, from my father’s cassette. However, when I was a child or young, I was also prejudiced against yellow music. But only now do I realize that, in addition to the melody and lyrics of yellow music songs that are very real, I feel that the composer composed them from his own pain, hardships, and emotional wounds… Maybe because the older I get, the more I understand the feelings and stories conveyed and shared by the author in each song, so I feel more deeply and love them more. I am sure that I am making a kind of bolero that no one has done before, not cheesy or trivial at all” - singer Thai Thuy Linh confided.

A highlight of the program was the appearance of guest singer Ho Quang 8 - a beloved bolero singer. He performed Khi Da Yeu (Phuong Linh) and Thanh Pho Buon (Lam Phuong) with a sweet bolero style. Immediately after, Thai Thuy Linh performed two songs in jazz style, bringing golden music into a romantic and soaring space, helping the audience clearly see the interesting dialogue between the two styles.

Director - producer Hoang Cong Cuong expressed: "Sitting below, I felt… shocked. It was the first time I heard such elegant bolero, as if I were watching an academic performance. Thai Thuy Linh today is completely different: more mellow, deeper, more creative. I believe this album will be well received by the public and I will be the first to 'open' on big stages."

In charge of the album's arrangement, musician Nguyen Quang said he received a difficult task when he had to recreate songs that were familiar to many generations: "Jazz has an improvisational nature. I set up the main frame, leaving the rest to let the saxophone, guitar, trumpet, drums, backing... interact with Thai Thuy Linh's voice. That interaction creates the soul of the album vol.5 Golden Jazz ".

Jazz artist Quyen Thien Dac collaborated with Thai Thuy Linh for the first time but played more than ten songs in the album.

Thai Thuy Linh said: “Since making the album, Mr. Quyen Thien Dac has given me an overwhelming feeling. When he plays the trumpet, I really admire him because he is extremely professional. He has a unique and individual playing style.

The time recording Jazz Vang has many memories for artist Quyen Thien Dac. Because the summer recording was very hot, when recording the trumpet, all air conditioners and fans had to be turned off to capture the sound as completely as possible, so artist Quyen Thien Dac often had to go shirtless while working.

In the minishow, Thai Thuy Linh performed classic songs of yellow music such as Sang ngang (Do Le), 60 nam cuoc doi (Y Van), Tinh la soi to (Anh Bang)... Although the melodies were deeply imprinted in the memory, under the jazz arrangement of Nguyen Quang and the soft yet powerful handling of Thai Thuy Linh, the audience seemed to hear completely new songs.
