VHO - The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just issued Document No. 2680/UBND-KGVX to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to study, appraise and report to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval of the Task of establishing a Plan for the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the special national relic My Son Temple Complex, Quang Nam province until 2035, with a vision to 2050 (hereinafter referred to as the task of establishing the My Son Plan).
Accordingly, the scope of planning research is the area associated with the formation process, affecting the conservation space and promoting the value of the My Son Temple Complex relic.
The total area of the space serving the planning research work is about 30,875 hectares, including the entire administrative boundary of Duy Xuyen district (including the planning area).
The planning area is 1,158 hectares. The scope of the research object is the relics associated with My Son Temple Complex such as: Tra Kieu, Bang An, Thu Bon river basin, other archaeological sites and Champa ruins.
The main content of the task of planning relics also clearly defines the characteristics of the relics with the following criteria: Identifying typical values in terms of history, archaeology; architectural art; biodiversity landscape; values in terms of use and promotion of culture - society , science, and tourism.
With its value and role as a connecting nucleus and driving force for development, My Son temple complex is part of the cultural value system of Quang Nam province, the Champa relic system in the Central provinces and the system of other heritages in the region.
Orientation of preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of relics in the area of strict and long-term protection of all remaining traces; areas that need to be embellished and renovated with service and public works, spatial landscapes and technical infrastructure systems to serve the work of promoting the value of the relic site, on the basis of suitability with the characteristics and values of the relic, landscape and natural environment of the area.
Orientation to sustainably promote the value of UNESCO-recognized relics associated with the landscape and topographical characteristics and value of the relics as tourism resources.
At the same time, add new tourism service facilities and convert crop models to meet new factors and needs arising during the planning stage.
Orientation of solutions to enhance responsibility and community participation. Orientation of mechanisms to encourage investment in sustainable development; it is necessary to propose a number of mechanisms to encourage socialized investment forms, preferential mechanisms for priority investment projects, in order to gradually improve the protection of characteristics and values of relics in each stage.
Orientation of organization of architectural space, landscape and construction of new works, planning of landscape architecture of some key relic areas; proposing solutions for restoration and embellishment of relics; embellishment of landscape around relics.
