'Thunder God' Zakhar was beaten and hospitalized by Pham Cong Minh at LION Championship 22

On the evening of May 10, the highlight match of Lion Championship 22 between Pham Cong Minh and "thunder god" Zakhar ended at Tay Ho Stadium ( Hanoi ) extremely attractively.

The first round was a difficult time for Pham Cong Minh when he was held back by his opponent. Zakhar Dzmitrychenka played aggressively and was very proactive with technical moves.

In round 2, Pham Cong Minh adjusted and almost took the upper hand. He continuously launched 2 accurate knee strikes to the head of the "thunder god".

After receiving two "hammer" kicks, Zakhar felt somewhat unwell. He was very lucky to finish the second round without having to give up in the match. Before the third round, Zakhar signaled to stop the match.

Pham Cong Minh deservedly and convincingly won by technical knockout (TKO). "Thunder God" Zakhar could not even leave the octagon by himself and had to be helped.

It was later reported that Zakhar was transferred to the hospital for timely monitoring of his injuries.

In the 9th match, it was the MMA Trio - a 3-on-3 format at the same time. The three representatives Nguyen Nguyen Chuong - Nguyen Quoc Bao and Luiz Finocchio from C88 Martial Arts Fitness & Yoga applied precise tactics to successively eliminate the three representatives Bach Van Nghia - Le Quang Minh and Mahmoud Aboelkeir from The Champ MMA, to win after 5 minutes of competition.

The two professional MMA matches ended without much surprise. Russian jiu-jitsu expert Adel Iabbarov easily overwhelmed Liu Renyi to win by triangle choke in his debut on the LION Championship stage.

In the 60kg weight class, talented Nguyen Manh Hai from Vietnam Top Team defeated Phan Huy Hoang after three rounds. Manh Hai's wrestling and control techniques left the fighter from Minh Sang Club with almost no chance to fight back.
