Thang Binh budget revenue is expected to reach 1,589 billion VND

In 2024, Thang Binh district has 16 targets to achieve and exceed the set plan. The total production value of economic sectors reached 12,366 billion VND, reaching 100.7% of the annual plan, up 10.9% compared to 2023. The average income per capita is estimated at 55.5 million VND.

Thang Binh district has approved the planning of 14 communes. Two communes, Binh Phu and Binh Chanh, have been recognized as meeting the standards of advanced new rural communes in 2023; 32 villages have been recognized as model new rural villages (reaching 34%). During the year, Thang Binh disbursed more than 2.8 billion VND for 101 economic development models in the western region.

Total budget revenue is expected to reach 1,589 billion VND, exceeding the district estimate by 32.9% and the provincial estimate by 33.97%. Economic revenue generated in the area is expected to reach 477 billion VND, exceeding the provincial estimate by 10.83% and the district estimate by 8.38%.

The district still has 1,108 poor households, a decrease of 161 poor households compared to 2023, reaching 393% of the target assigned by the province. There are 297 people working abroad for a limited period, reaching 148% of the assigned plan.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh requested that by 2025, Thang Binh district should pay attention to completely resolving the upgrading of martyrs' monuments and cemeteries; resolutely complete the elimination of temporary houses; coordinate investment in embellishing and upgrading the Dong Duong Buddhist Institute National Special Monument; effectively carry out the work of arranging, streamlining the apparatus, and arranging administrative units...
