Part of Bell-505 helicopter with registration number VN-8650 was found.
According to the Decision, the "Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee" was established on April 5, 2023 for the Bell 505 helicopter with registration number VN-8650 of the Northern Helicopter Company - Vietnam Helicopter Corporation, Army Corps 18, Ministry of National Defense in the coastal area bordering Gia Luan commune, Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city.
List of members of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee
The leader of the Ministry of Transport is the Chairman of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee. The leader of the Ministry of National Defense is the Permanent Vice Chairman. The leader of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam is the Vice Chairman.
The members are leaders of the agencies: Department of Operations; Air Defense - Air Force; Department of Rescue (General Staff); Navy Command; representatives of the Ministry of Finance ; Department of Transport, Department of Finance, Ministry of Transport; Vietnam Maritime Administration; Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation; representative of the country designing and manufacturing aircraft (Canada); representative of the country designing and manufacturing engines (France); leaders of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong; leaders of the Department of Health of Quang Ninh province.
The expert team includes: Experts from the Ministry of Transport (Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, Vietnam Maritime Administration, Aviation Search and Rescue Coordination Center); experts from the Ministry of National Defense (Air Defense - Air Force, Navy, Army Corps 18....);
The Secretariat includes: Department of Operations - Ministry of National Defense; Air Defense and Air Force - Ministry of National Defense; Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam - Ministry of Transport.
Agencies and units with members of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee must send written requests to the Ministry of Transport before June 10, 2023.
The Chairman of the "Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee" is responsible for directing the investigation work and activities of the Investigation Committee according to the investigation procedures, tasks, powers and obligations prescribed in Decree No. 75/2007/ND-CP dated May 9, 2007 of the Government on investigation of civil aircraft incidents and accidents.
The cost of incident investigation activities is implemented according to the provisions of Article 22 of Decree No. 75/2007/ND-CP dated May 9, 2007 of the Government on investigation of incidents and accidents of civil aircraft.
This Decision takes effect from the date of signing; the Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee shall dissolve upon completion of its investigation mission.
