U.23 Vietnam confident of victory
Today, the 33rd SEA Games Organizing Committee decided to move Group B of the men's football tournament to Bangkok due to flooding in Songkhla province. Striker Thanh Nhan shared: "This has a little impact on the preparation of U.23 Vietnam, but it's okay because the whole team is still working hard every day.
Entering the third day of training, the entire U.23 Vietnam team and I have gradually caught up with the intensity. We will try harder. At the moment, the whole team is still practicing at high intensity to maintain physical strength."
Coach Kim Sang-sik and U.23 Vietnam aim to compete for the 33rd SEA Games gold medal, the third gold medal after two titles in 2019 and 2022 since our international integration. Thanh Nhan is expected to have her first lucky chance after previous unfortunate missed appointments.
Overcome yourself

Thanh Nhan said: "The opponents at SEA Games 33 are all formidable. Indonesia and Thailand are the most formidable. The entire U.23 Vietnam team will try to win the gold medal. I think the biggest opponent of U.23 Vietnam is ourselves. We will try to surpass ourselves.
The tactics of U.23 Vietnam will remain the same as the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament and the 2026 Asian U.23 qualifiers. Each player on the attack line has their own strengths and so do I. I will try my best to play well to have a place in the U.23 Vietnam shirt.
Internal competition pressure is the same in every tournament. Everyone must try their best so that the coach can choose the best player. We will try to practice and compete to the best of our ability. Hopefully, the fans will accompany the whole team at SEA Games 33."
