The Government Inspectorate urged the recovery of more than 24,000 billion VND for the State budget after the inspection.

Over the past years, the Government Inspectorate and the entire inspection sector have identified monitoring, urging, and inspecting the implementation of conclusions, recommendations, and post-inspection handling decisions as key tasks.

The Standing Committee of the Government Inspectorate Party Committee annually issues specialized resolutions to strengthen direction, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing inspection conclusions, especially in recovering assets and handling violating organizations and individuals.

At the workshop on experience sharing on post-inspection handling, recently organized by the Government Inspectorate in coordination with the French Embassy, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of Department XIV, said that from 2018 to September 2025, the entire inspection sector has urged and inspected the implementation of 37,913 inspection conclusions.

Of these, 22,579 conclusions were completed, reaching 59.6%; 49,107 hectares of land were recovered, reaching 67.7%; 20,173 organizations and 43,255 individuals were administratively handled; 522 cases were transferred to the investigation agency, 81 cases and 165 subjects were prosecuted; at the same time, 2,149 policy recommendations were completed, reaching 75.2%.

A bright spot in post-inspection handling is that the Government Inspectorate advised the Government to develop Project 153, focusing on resolving difficulties in implementing land projects, especially in Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa.

As a member of the Government Working Group, the Government Inspectorate has directly participated in the implementation of the Project. This is an important step in administrative reform, creating conditions to open up investment capital flows, promote economic growth and ensure legal principles and transparency in resource and land management.

The Politburo also issued Conclusion No. 77-KL/TW (dated May 2, 2024) on solutions to remove project and land obstacles in five key localities. The National Assembly passed Resolution 170/2024/QH15 (dated November 30, 2024) stipulating specific mechanisms for Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa. Next, the Government issued Decree 76/2025/ND-CP, creating a clear and synchronous legal corridor to handle long-standing bottlenecks.

As of October 15, localities have reviewed 2,161 projects and real estate facilities with a total investment capital of more than VND352,993 billion. Of these, 1,759 projects have been processed, reaching 81.39%, equivalent to more than VND220,000 billion in investment capital cleared and 6,101 hectares of land returned to exploitation and effective use.

According to Deputy Director of Department XIV Pham Thi Thu Huong, post-inspection handling has made important progress: The organizational structure has been improved, professional tasks have been clearly defined, contributing to enhancing management effectiveness and the strictness of the law.

Thanks to regular supervision and inspection, many ministries, branches and localities have thoroughly overcome violations and seriously implemented conclusions and recommendations. Inspection activities do not only stop at detecting violations but also aim to improve mechanisms, perfect policies and raise awareness of law compliance.
