Participating in the discussion, the speakers shared about the difficulties and challenges that radio media is facing in the current period, from human resources, finance, management mechanisms... In addition, they discussed the role of radio, creating a strong enough mechanism and resources for radio to develop appropriately in the new situation (recognizing the role of radio; mechanism for ordering and investing in radio content; training and fostering radio personnel; digital content strategy for radio).
In the current new situation, although radio is no longer the “monopoly”, it still holds an important position, especially in policy dissemination, community engagement, and cultural dissemination, especially in rural, mountainous, and island areas.
