Light up green for children's rights in Vietnam

Today, November 20 is World Children's Day, as usual, famous landmarks in Vietnam light up in blue to celebrate children's rights.

World Children's Day is celebrated around the world as an opportunity for governments , societies and adults to reaffirm their commitment to building a safer, better, cleaner and more opportunity-filled world for children as set out in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

To affirm this commitment, famous buildings and landmarks around the world are lit up in green tonight. In Vietnam, TNR Tower - headquarters of TNG Holdings Vietnam, Green One UN House in Hanoi , Dragon Bridge in Da Nang and Landmark 81 and Global City of Masterise Home in Ho Chi Minh City are participating in this initiative.

World Children's Day is celebrated globally on 20 November each year to commemorate the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. World Children's Day highlights important issues affecting the lives of children and supports the participation of children and young people as advocates for their own rights.

In Vietnam, this year's World Children's Day focuses on protecting and promoting the mental health of children and adolescents, further strengthening mental health care strategies to support the young generation of Vietnam.
