After the Galaxy S25 Ultra launched with a major change in appearance, Samsung will likely go further on the S26 by bringing a strongly curved design.

Previously, models like the Galaxy S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra were criticized for their square design and sharp edges, making them uncomfortable to hold. Many users reported feeling uncomfortable when using them with one hand or putting them in their pockets. With the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Korean tech giant has partially overcome this problem by switching to rounded corners, helping to provide a more ergonomic experience.

According to leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could feature even more rounded edges, almost twice as much as its predecessor. This change not only makes for a more natural grip, but also fits in with the new design, creating a sleeker and more seamless look than previous generations.

Although it is still at least 5 months away from launch, a lot of information has been revealed about the configuration of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The device is expected to maintain a 5,000 mAh battery, possibly supporting 60 W fast charging.

In terms of cameras, Samsung seems to continue using the HP2 main sensor with a resolution of 200 MP, but increased the aperture from f / 1.7 on the Galaxy S25 Ultra to f / 1.4. The large opening allows for more light to be captured, promising improved low-light photography. In addition, the 3x telephoto camera with a resolution of 10 MP is likely to be upgraded to 50 MP, bringing detail to zoomed photos.

Another notable point is the rumor that Samsung is equipping a new OLED panel called “Flex Magic Pixel”. This technology will be integrated with AI to increase privacy, limiting others from seeing the content displayed on the screen without permission.

Compared to most high-end Android smartphones today, which have long had rounded designs to optimize the feeling of use, Samsung is gradually shifting the Ultra line to the same design language. Continuing to refine the shape of the device not only brings ergonomic advantages but also creates synchronization between high-end features and practical experience.

If the above leaks are accurate, the Galaxy S26 Ultra won't bring a leap in hardware, but focus on practical changes.
