Vietnamese e -sports are making a strong mark on the international arena.

The Vietnam Entertainment E-Sports Association (VIRESA) affirmed that this is a positive signal, demonstrating the maturity and bravery of athletes, and at the same time showing that Vietnamese e-sports is capable enough to reach out to the world .

According to VIRESA, getting a ticket to EWC is already a challenge, because the clubs must be the top representatives in the country as well as the region. Impressive achievements such as the runner-up position in Truth Arena or two out of three clubs participating in PUBG reaching the final further strengthen the belief that Vietnam can absolutely dream of higher rankings in international tournaments.

Notably, many sports within the EWC framework will also be present at the 33rd SEA Games, Asian Youth Game 2025 and ASIAD 2026, where athletes participating in this tournament are also the core force of the national team in sports such as League of Legends, VALORANT, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Crossfire...

According to VIRESA representative, EWC is a valuable opportunity for Vietnam to both test itself and gain experience, while also assessing its strength and researching its competitors.

Taking place from July 8 to August 24 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), EWC 2025 brings together 25 competitions with a total prize of up to 70 million USD, attracting the participation of 13 Vietnamese clubs in 7 sports, of which 4 sports coincide with the competition content of SEA Games 33 and ASIAD 2026.

Not only stopping at competing, becoming a partner of the EWC Organizing Committee also opens up opportunities for Vietnam to affirm its position on the global e-sports map.

VIRESA said that the upcoming goal is to turn e-sports into a cultural bridge, contributing to digital economic growth, and at the same time creating Vietnam as an ideal destination for this industry in the period 2025-2030.
