Regarding the COVID-19 situation in Vietnam, since the beginning of the pandemic, Vietnam has recorded 11,526,365 cases, ranking 13th out of 230 countries and territories. Regarding the COVID-19 treatment situation, 12 patients were announced to have recovered today, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 10,612,426.

The number of patients currently receiving oxygen is 3, including: 2 cases receiving oxygen via mask; 0 cases receiving high-flow non-invasive ventilation (HFNC); 1 case receiving non-invasive mechanical ventilation; 0 cases receiving invasive mechanical ventilation; and 0 cases receiving ECMO.

The number of deaths recorded on January 25th was 0. The average number of deaths recorded over the past 7 days is 0. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,186, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.

The total number of deaths ranks 26th out of 230 territories, and the number of deaths per million population ranks 139th out of 230 countries and territories worldwide . Compared to Asia, the total number of deaths ranks 7th out of 49 (3rd in ASEAN), and the number of deaths per million population ranks 21st out of 49 Asian countries and territories (3rd in ASEAN).

Regarding COVID-19 vaccinations, 1,057 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered on January 25th. Thus, the total number of doses administered is 266,058,224, including:

The total number of doses for individuals aged 18 and over is 223,696,994: Dose 1: 71,082,147 doses; Dose 2: 68,700,543 doses; Booster dose: 14,534,328 doses; First booster dose: 51,883,927 doses; Second booster dose: 17,496,049 doses.
