More universities will consider transcripts in 2025

In 2025, many universities will continue to reserve quotas for the transcript-based admission method. Of which, the Banking Academy plans to reserve 20% of its total quota for this admission method.

On February 15, the Banking Academy announced its expected plan for regular university enrollment in 2025 with some adjustments compared to last year.

This year, the school will enroll about 3,600 students, an increase of more than 100 compared to 2024.

Admission methods are also kept stable, including: Direct admission, based on high school academic results, international certificates, results of competency assessment exams, and high school graduation exam scores.

With the method of considering academic records, the academy reserves 20% of the admission quota. To consider admission using this method, the academy requires candidates to have good academic performance in grade 12 and have an average score of 8.0 or higher for each subject in the group of majors registered for admission for 3 years.

With the international certificate examination method, the academy plans to reserve 15% of the quota. Admission criteria are based on the candidates' thinking ability, foreign language ability and academic results.

To be considered for admission under this method, candidates must have excellent academic performance in grade 12 and have an average score of 8.0 or higher for each subject in the admission group for 3 years. Have a SAT certificate of 1,200 points or higher; IELTS of 6.0 or higher; TOEFL iBT of 72 points or higher.

With the admission method based on the results of competency assessment exams, the academy plans to reserve 20% of the quota, an increase of 5% compared to last year.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the academy plans to reserve 45% of the total admission quota, a decrease of 5% compared to last year. The minimum admission score will be announced by the academy later. Last year, the minimum admission score to the academy using this method was 21 points.

Previously, many universities announced that they would continue to reserve quotas for the high school transcript review method for enrollment in 2025.
