More than 100 engineers, workers and 35 machines and equipment were mobilized and divided into 5 construction teams to carry out the project.
The project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 395 and the road leading from Cay bridge to provincial road 394 passes through Vinh Hung, Vinh Hong, Tan Viet, Hung Thang and Long Xuyen communes (Binh Giang). The project is invested by the Binh Giang District Investment and Construction Project Management Board with a total investment of 1,050 billion VND.
The renovated and upgraded section of provincial road 395 is about 7.2 km long, starting at km 16 + 750 intersecting with the new residential roundabout south of Cay village, and ending at km 23 + 920 intersecting with Sop C bridge. The scale and standards of a level III plain road with 4 lanes and a design speed of 60 km/h. The approach road to Cay bridge has an end point intersecting provincial road 394 at km 10 + 115, including 3 investment segments; a level II plain road with 4 lanes and a design speed of 80 km/h.
This is a key traffic project of Binh Giang district, expected to be completed by the end of December 2024.
Previously, Road 395 was only 5.5-6 m wide, the road surface was paved with asphalt and cement concrete, the drainage system was not synchronized, mainly draining water into ponds, lakes and fields. The capacity to exploit the route was still limited. Therefore, the implementation of the project to renovate and upgrade Road 395 (section from km16+750 - km23+920) and the approach road from Cay bridge to Road 394 will contribute to forming an axis connecting industrial parks and clusters of Binh Giang and Cam Giang districts, meeting the increasing transportation demand, attracting investment and contributing to limiting traffic accidents.
