Construction of power transmission line to Phu Quoc island

In recent years, Phu Quoc has been known as the "Pearl Island" and has attracted the attention of many domestic and foreign investors. Many resorts, hotels, tourist areas and infrastructure have been and are being built, the appearance of the city is changing every day. In order to increase the load capacity, provide more electricity to meet the needs of economic and social development, and ensure national security for Phu Quoc City. Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) is implementing the investment project to build a 220KV power transmission system across the sea from Kien Binh to Phu Quoc with a total investment of 2,212 billion VND, the total length of the line is 80.4km, with 169 pole positions and a system of terminal transformer stations and a grid operation center. Every day from 4am, hundreds of workers are transported by ship from the mainland to the construction site with a distance of tens of kilometers.
