Construction works through the night to bring the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway to the finish line early

(QNgTV) - After more than 2 and a half years of implementation, the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway project has gradually taken shape. Many items have achieved and exceeded the schedule, the atmosphere at the construction site is bustling and urgent as contractors mobilized maximum resources, many workers also worked hard through the night to finish the project early.

Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway Project

There are currently nearly 50 simultaneous construction sites along the entire route, mobilizing more than 3,100 engineers, workers and 1,150 modern equipment. The value of the completed volume has reached about 9,750 billion VND, equivalent to 73% of the total project. The representative of the joint venture contractor said that to ensure progress and bring the project to completion ahead of schedule, the unit has increased human resources, equipment, and organized many construction sites day and night.

The Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway project is 88 km long, of which 60.3 km is in Quang Ngai province and 27.7 km is in Gia Lai province, with a total investment of more than 20,000 billion VND. This is one of the 12 largest component projects of the North - South Eastern Expressway, phase 2021 - 2025.

In phase 1, the expressway will be built with 4 lanes and a design speed of 80 km/h. The project is invested by Project Management Board 2 and constructed by a joint venture of Deo Ca Group.

According to plan, the entire route will be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
