On the afternoon of October 17, Duyen Hai district held the closing ceremony of the 2023 Excellent Party Cell Secretary Contest. Attending were comrades: Kim Ruong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, member of the Provincial Competition Steering Committee; Le Vu Phuong, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, Head of the Competition Steering Committee; Phan Van Nhan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Head of the Competition Organizing Committee.

Participating in the contest, candidates go through a greeting and self-introduction section and introduce themselves and their unit. In this section, candidates introduce themselves, their characteristics, situation, outstanding results, good and creative ways of doing things, advantages and difficulties of the Party cell and Party committee they are operating in.

In the oral exam, candidates answer one theoretical question and one situational question. In the supplementary exam, candidates answer one question, including knowledge about Party building, Party work or solving problems occurring in grassroots Party cells.

The Organizing Committee of the contest also held an exchange session with fans in the live hall and fans who were cheering at the contest at online locations.

The contest is a broad political activity in the entire district Party Committee, aiming to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres and Party members about the position, role, functions and tasks of the Party cell. Contributing to propagating, disseminating and bringing the Party's directives and resolutions, policies and laws of the State into life, contributing to the effective implementation of the action program of the district Party Committee.

The contest is also an opportunity to foster skills and expertise in Party building work and practical experience for the team of secretaries and deputy secretaries of grassroots Party cells in the entire Party organization.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to contestant Pham Tan An, Deputy Secretary of the Long Thanh Town Military Party Cell; awarded the second prize to contestants: Nguyen Tan Loc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of the District People's Council - People's Committee Office; Mai Quoc Vinh, Secretary of the Party Cell of the Economic and Infrastructure Department; awarded the third prize to contestants: Tran Van Yen, Secretary of the District Court Party Cell; Le Van Dung, Secretary of the Vinh Khanh Hamlet Party Cell, Long Khanh Commune; Le Truong Phong, Secretary of the Don Xuan Commune Police Party Cell ; Huynh Thanh Dang, Secretary of the Party Cell of the District Police Party Committee Office.

The contest organizers also awarded 05 consolation prizes and 02 secondary prizes to candidates who answered the best theoretical questions and situational handling questions.

At the closing ceremony of the contest, Comrade Kim Ruong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, member of the Provincial Competition Steering Committee, highly appreciated the organization of the contest of Duyen Hai district, especially in terms of content, program, and knowledge of the contestants. The highlight of Duyen Hai in organizing the contest is that it is online to communes and towns in the district so that localities can learn and exchange to improve their qualifications and experience.
