This year's 10th grade entrance exam, in 9 districts and 2 cities, Bien Hoa and Long Khanh, there were a total of 34 entrance exam councils, with over 21,400 registered candidates (more than 5,000 candidates less than last year's exam).

Cam My district is the only locality where no high school organizes admission by entrance exam, because the 3 high schools in the district are capable of receiving students who have just completed the junior high school program and wish to be admitted to grade 10 of high school.

In the morning of the exam registration process, candidates are called into the exam room by the invigilator according to the list, then they are informed of the exam regulations and specific exam times for each exam day.

Candidates are thoroughly informed by the invigilators about a number of contents to avoid students violating exam regulations such as: not being allowed to bring electricity, smart watches, devices with broadcasting functions, documents with writing, except for exam cards and personal documents.

In addition, the supervisor also advised candidates that on the official exam day, if candidates forget to bring their exam card or identification documents, they should immediately notify the supervisor and not return home to get them to avoid being late for the exam room.

To ensure the rights of candidates, during the procedure, the supervisor allowed candidates to review all the registration information and sign the confirmation. In case of any errors in the information, candidates have the right to make final corrections before the official exam takes place.

According to the 10th grade entrance exam schedule of the Departmentof Education and Training, on May 29, in the morning, candidates will take the Math exam (120 minutes), and in the afternoon, candidates will take the English exam (60 minutes).

On May 30, in the morning, candidates will take the final exam, Literature (120 minutes). Candidates applying to specialized classes at Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted will take an additional specialized exam (120 minutes).

For the 2025-2026 school year, the Department of Education and Training organized for 20 public high schools to enroll students through entrance exams. These are schools facing enrollment pressure, as demand always exceeds the schools' enrollment capacity.

The remaining public and private high schools only apply admission based on junior high school transcripts.
