At the Nguyen Huu Huan High School (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) exam site, nearly 600 candidates showed up early, ready for the important exam. The school arranged 30 exam rooms, ensuring the organization took place seriously and smoothly.
As usual, senior students stood along both sides of the school gate to cheer and encourage the candidates. Many parents also put aside their work to directly pick up and drop off their children and accompany them throughout the exam period.
Candidate Quynh Nhu, at the exam site of Nguyen Huu Huan High School, shared: "I have prepared carefully for the exam. I want to go to Tran Dai Nghia Specialized School, followed by Nguyen Huu Huan School. Although I have studied very carefully, I am still a bit nervous and worried."
This morning, students will take the 120-minute Literature exam. This is the first exam to be conducted according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program with many changes in structure and test format.
According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this year's Literature exam consists of 2 parts. Part 1: Reading and understanding literary texts and writing paragraphs; Part 2: Reading and understanding argumentative or informational texts and writing social argumentative essays. Both parts have the same score scale.
The exam will continue with Foreign Languages, Maths and specialized subjects in the next exam sessions, lasting until June 7.
