Quang Ninh children continue to write the glorious history of the Young Pioneers organization

Through 84 flower seasons growing up with the country, generations of young people have been trained and matured, successively writing the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization, building the Team stronger and stronger, making an important contribution to the cause of defending the Fatherland.

The Provincial Youth Union - Provincial Youth Union Council organized a meeting with the delegation of children of Quang Ninh province to attend the 10th National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in 2025.

Compete to follow Uncle Ho's teachings

In order to multiply the outstanding and typical examples of team members, the Provincial Youth Union has focused on innovating the implementation method of the movement "Quang Ninh children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings", focusing on solutions to create an environment for children to compete in studying and training associated with the campaign "Every week a beautiful story, a good book, a shining example", "For beloved juniors". From there, creating a vibrant and practical emulation movement among children in the whole province, making the emulation content to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings a regular and continuous task of the Team organization.

Nguyen Linh Ngoc, a 9th grade student at Chu Van An Secondary School (Cam Pha City), is one of the students receiving the Kim Dong Award for the 2024-2025 school year.

In the 2023-2025 period, the Provincial Youth Union Council continues to effectively implement the campaigns "Pride of a country", "Red flag on the border", and the model "My class hangs Uncle Ho's picture" in 100% of the teams and 5,074 sub-teams in the whole province. 100% of the teams organize for students to go to "Red Addresses" inside and outside the province.

The teams strictly carry out the flag-saluting ceremony, improve the quality of weekly flag-salute activities; guide the activities of the team and children's star periodically in conjunction with educational activities, orienting children on values ​​of ethics, lifestyle, love of homeland and country; organize propaganda and education activities on sovereignty of seas, islands and borders for children; launch and guide children to do specific things to visit and encourage officers and soldiers on duty and children living on islands and archipelagos of Vietnam.

The “Tran Quoc Toan” work continues to be implemented with many practical and effective activities through the movements “Repaying gratitude” and “Drinking water, remember its source”. The teams in the whole province have organized more than 268 activities to visit, care for and support 11 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and nearly 350 families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Students in Hai Ha district participate in the painting contest "Uncle Ho with children - children with Uncle Ho" in 2025.

To help team members, teenagers and children enthusiastically compete in studying, training and helping each other to become good children and good students, the Team Council maintains 22,280 "Friends of Progress" to promote the initiative, creativity, self-cultivation, self-training and helping each other to progress of each team member and child. Organize exchange activities between teams according to the "Team Twinning" program with 71 twinning teams in the whole province.

The teams strengthen and sponsor students in difficult circumstances through the programs "Small Plan", "1,000 VND to light up dreams", "Raising piggy banks for poor friends", "100 VND House" by collecting scrap paper, beer cans, vegetable gardens that I tend... The models "Self-managed school gate for teenagers to ensure green - clean - beautiful and traffic safety", "Roads I take care of", "Clean school drum sound" movement..., help students raise their awareness of preserving and protecting the environment.

Following Uncle Ho's teachings, Quang Ninh children also actively participated in the movements "Thousands of good deeds" and "Pick up lost items and return them to their owners". Through that, many typical examples of children and groups with many good deeds in all aspects of study, training and social activities appeared.

Building a strong Team organization

For the team work to be effective, the team of teachers in charge of the team plays an important role. In addition to their professional duties, they are the ones who maintain collective activities, helping students gain the necessary experience and skills in studying and practicing. Therefore, every year the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Team Council pay attention to organizing training courses to improve the skills and professional skills of team work for the team of teachers in charge of the team and the staff in charge of children. The whole province organizes 721 training activities on skills and professional skills of team work for team leaders with the participation of 15,310 team leaders.

The Provincial Youth Union Council organized the Happy and Healthy Youth Festival - Stepping Up to the Youth Union in 2025.

Along with that, focus on innovating team activities in a practical direction, suitable to practical requirements and age psychology, helping children practice ethics, personality, life skills, communication skills, social skills, thereby comprehensively developing morality, intelligence, physical fitness, and aesthetics. To help team members and children improve their creative thinking ability, the teams also maintain the organization of STEM festivals; organize experiential and creative activities; organize intellectual playgrounds; create unique reading spaces to develop reading culture among children.

The work of training and recruiting new team members has been focused on implementing emulation movements among team members, teenagers, and children on major holidays. In the period of 2023-2025, the whole province has recruited 41,896 new team members.

Tien Yen District Department of Education and Training coordinated with the District Youth Union to organize a contest for teachers to be excellent Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Team Leaders at the district level, school year 2024-2025.

The innovation of the team's movements not only creates attractive playgrounds, but also promotes the autonomy and self-management of children in team activities. Thereby, encouraging and motivating teenagers and children to strive to study, practice and participate in social activities to become good children, good students, good team members, good children of Uncle Ho.
