This afternoon (December 11), the Traffic Police Team, Hung Nguyen District Police ( Nghe An ) coordinated with Traffic Police Team 1.46 (Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police) to set up a checkpoint to check alcohol concentration at Km18+300, National Highway 46A (in Hung Nguyen town).

At around 2:00 p.m. the same day, a young man was driving a motorbike with license plate 37M1 - 944.86 without a helmet or rearview mirror on National Highway 46A, in the direction of Vinh - Hung Nguyen.

Discovering that the police were on duty, the young man immediately accelerated to deliberately pass the checkpoint and crashed into Major NXC (born in 1986, belonging to the Traffic Police Team of Hung Nguyen District Police).

Although Major C. tried to run to the side of the road to avoid it, he was too late and was hit in the leg by the car, causing him to fall.

Major C. was then taken to the hospital for a health check. The subject who drove his car into the traffic police was quickly arrested afterwards.

The case is being investigated and clarified by Hung Nguyen District Police.
