The exam consists of 5 tests, including: 3 independent tests: Math, Literature, Foreign Language; 1 combined Natural Science test including the components of Physics, Chemistry, Biology; 1 combined Social Science test including the components of History, Geography, CivicEducation for candidates studying the general education program at high school level or the components of History, Geography for candidates studying the continuing education program at high school level.
The total number of candidates registered for the 2023 high school graduation exam is: 1,024,063. Of which, the number of candidates registered online is 968,160, accounting for 94.42%; the number of candidates registered directly is 57,104, accounting for 5.58%.
