The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from yesterday evening, today and until tomorrow evening, the North will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places will have very heavy rain. Rainfall is generally from 70-150mm, some places over 300mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/3 hours).

In addition, from last night until today, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An , the Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places. Rainfall is 10-30mm, with heavy rain in some places over 50mm (rain concentrated in the evening and at night).

Provinces from Da Nang to the South Central Coast are hot and sunny, with thunderstorms in the evening.

Marine weather, today in the waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, the North and Central East Sea (including the waters of the Hoang Sa archipelago), and the Gulf of Thailand there will be showers and thunderstorms.

During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong winds of level 6-7, and waves over 2m high.

The sea area from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau has strong southwest wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, waves 2-3m high.

All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes, strong winds and large waves.
