Weather on October 2: Tropical depression near the East Sea, many places across the country have showers and thunderstorms

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 a.m. on October 2, the center of the tropical depression was at about 14.8 degrees north latitude, 129.0 degrees east longitude, in the sea east of the Philippines.

The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 7 (50-61km/h), gusting to level 9. Moving west-northwest, speed about 15km/h.

Over the next 48 to 72 hours, the storm will move west-northwest at about 25km per hour and continue to strengthen.

It is forecasted that many places across the country will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, except in Hanoi where it will be sunny during the day and rainless at night.
