Localized heavy rains may cause flash floods in small rivers and streams, landslides in steep mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas. People in the northern mountainous provinces should actively monitor the situation, especially in areas that have had heavy rain for many days.

At sea, the weather is complicated: The eastern area between the East Sea and the South East Sea (including the Truong Sa sea area) has scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of level 6 - 7. Waves can be 1 - 2m high, posing a danger to ships operating.

Thunderstorms are forecast to continue in the central and southern East Sea in the next 24 hours. All vessels and vehicles operating in these waters should pay special attention to the risk of dangerous weather and have plans to anchor and take shelter safely.
