Weather on August 5: Extremely hot spots appear

(QNgTV)- On August 5, the heat wave continued in the Northern and Central regions. In particular, severe heat waves with temperatures above 38 degrees Celsius appeared in both regions.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, the Northern region continues to have intense heat, with some places having temperatures above 38°C; Lai Chau and Dien Bien have some rain, so the temperature is milder, only around 30-33 degrees. In the evening, there may be showers and thunderstorms in some places in the Northern region.

The areas from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang as well as coastal areas from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are still experiencing extremely hot weather, with low humidity below 55%, increasing the risk of fires, forest fires and heat shock, so people need to take precautions.

In the Central and Southern Highlands, the weather is sunny during the day, with scattered showers in the evening.
