Regarding the overlapping issues, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the two Ministries to coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and relevant ministries and agencies to review the overlapping contents such as veterinary medicine - animal husbandry, irrigation - water resources management, hydrometeorology - natural disaster prevention... to ensure no overlap with the tasks of ministries and agencies and to avoid duplication of functions and tasks between units under the Ministry, and to consult with members of the Party Executive Committee of the two Ministries.

The Government leader requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to continue to coordinate in reviewing and finalizing the plan to improve the organizational structure of the new ministry after the merger.
