New information on the case of a female student who was brutally assaulted and called a "vegetable seller"

(Dan Tri) - On October 17, Mr. Cao Anh Tuan, Vice Principal of Viet Duc Vocational College (Nghe An) said that he had sent a report on the case of a female student being brutally assaulted, called a "vegetable seller", to the authorities.

The male student who assaulted the female student NTNL (16 years old) is NVGB (15 years old). Both are studying in grade 10 at a continuing education center that is affiliated with and has a place to study at Viet Duc Vocational College.

According to the reports of the two students as well as the results of the work between them with the participation of their parents, it shows that there was a conflict between B. and L. since the previous school year. Recently, these two students have been texting each other to challenge each other.

During recess after the second period, on October 15, male student B. went to female student L.'s class and committed acts of violence against her.

“The school asked NVGB and NTNL, along with the male student, to film and post the clip on social media and write a self-criticism. The school also gave the students a few days off from school to stabilize their psychology, and assigned their parents to manage and encourage them, to avoid them being pressured by public opinion or being provoked,” Mr. Tuan informed.

According to Mr. Tuan, the police also worked with the students involved in the incident.

As Dan Tri reported, on October 16, a clip over 2 minutes long appeared on social media recording a violent incident that occurred in a classroom.

In the clip, a male student grabs a female student’s hair, pushes her face down on a chair, and repeatedly punches her in the head. Many other male students stand around watching, shouting and cheering. Some of the male students call the victim a “vegetable seller”.

The male student held the female student's hand tightly and called his classmates to come and take a clear picture of her face.

The victim was then dragged off the chair by the male student by the hair. The female student resisted and was repeatedly punched in the head and face.

Not stopping there, the male student dragged the female student into the hallway, continued the violent behavior, choked her neck, and slammed her head against the wall. The female student was dragged into the classroom by her hair, pressed down on the table, screaming in pain from being repeatedly hit in the head.

The entire process of this male student assaulting his female friend was cheered on by his male friends.
