Ca Mau: A big fire is going on at Thanh Tung market.

A resident of Thanh Tung market (Thanh Tung commune, Ca Mau province) had a conflict and slashed his wife, injuring her. While the wife was being taken to the emergency room, the husband set fire to his house, causing a large fire to spread around.

At 12:15 on August 22, a leader of the People's Committee of Thanh Tung commune ( Ca Mau province) said that he was present at the scene of the fire in Thanh Tung market area and directed the fire fighting; however, the fire was very large and difficult to control.

Initial information said that the cause of the fire was due to a resident (identity being determined) living in Thanh Tung area having a conflict with his wife, then burning down his own house and the fire spread around.

“The husband had an argument and then took a knife to stab his wife. While the wife was being taken to the emergency room, the man at home set fire to his own house. We are currently focusing on putting out the fire so we do not know the man’s condition yet,” the leader of Thanh Tung Commune People’s Committee added.
