Technical opening of DT.277B route in Bac Ninh province connecting with Ha Bac 2 bridge in Bac Giang province

The DT.277B project connecting with Ha Bac 2 bridge, Ring Road 4 is part of the overall investment project to build provincial roads DT.295C, DT.285B connecting Bac Ninh city through industrial parks with the new National Highway 3, with a total length of about 20.2 km, which was started by the Prime Minister in July 2023, with a total investment of 1,496 billion VND. This is an important project, connecting the northeastern region of the province with the national highway system in the area, creating a convenient traffic direction with the capital region of Hanoi as well as the provinces of Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, etc.

The DT.277B section connecting to Ha Bac 2 bridge is 4.9 km long, 12 m wide, with a construction investment cost of about 130 billion VND, and is one of the key routes connecting the two provinces of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang; construction was organized from October 2023. To date, after nearly 18 months of construction, it has been basically completed and meets all conditions for technical traffic opening.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan acknowledged and praised the investor, departments, branches, localities and people where the project passes through, and contractors participating in the project for their great efforts to complete the route on schedule, ensuring quality and meeting the requirements. He sincerely thanked the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province for their active coordination, implementation of construction and early completion of Ha Bac 2 bridge, contributing significantly to connecting the two provinces and promoting the overall value of the three provincial roads of Bac Ninh.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: In recent years, Yen Phong district and Viet Yen town (Bac Giang) have emerged as dynamic "industrial capitals" of the North, concentrating many large-scale industrial parks and being the production headquarters of the world's leading economic groups such as Samsung, Amkor, Goertek, Foxcom. The completion and putting into use of Ha Bac 2 bridge and connecting DT.277B route are of strategic significance, creating a strong driving force in linking the industrial production chain between the two localities, forming a key industrial zone with leading competitiveness in the country. According to the plan, after the merger of the two provinces, there are expected to be 12 bridges across the Cau River, which is an important premise for planning and developing a modern, synchronous industrial city along the Cau River, with strong development potential in the future, with a vision of a hundred years.

Although up to now, the DT.277B route has completed 100% of the volume. However, the total completed volume of the entire provincial road project DT.295C, DT.285B, DT.277B has only reached about 70%. To complete the entire project and hand it over for use in 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor, consultants and contractors to continue to organize the construction of the remaining items with the highest determination in the spirit of working "3 shifts, 4 teams". Prioritize putting each completed part of the project into use in a timely manner. Particularly for DT.277B, urgently construct the lighting system as soon as possible, contributing to ensuring traffic safety and security and order for people and workers working in industrial parks, striving to complete it no later than October 30, 2025. Investors need to proactively and actively coordinate closely with relevant agencies and units to focus on removing all difficulties and obstacles, while managing project implementation scientifically and strictly complying with legal regulations.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to create maximum conditions and promptly resolve administrative procedures related to the project according to the "24-hour green lane" mechanism, promptly remove all difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process according to their authority. The People's Committee of Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh city needs to focus highly, resolutely and creatively in site clearance work, ensuring the handover of the entire remaining land area to the investor before May 30, contributing to the project's completion on schedule, achieving the highest quality and investment efficiency.
