When asked about the secret to getting high scores in the exam, Thanh Ngan shared: "I don't have any special secret. When I like something, I will study with all my heart. My self-study journey started from re-reading all the knowledge from grades 10 and 11. Along with participating in reviewing for the excellent student exam at school, I learned a lot of interesting and useful knowledge. At the same time, I often go on social networks to refer to knowledge and exam questions." In grades 10 and 11, Thanh Ngan majored in natural sciences. But after a period of attachment, Thanh Ngan found that she no longer had a passion for those subjects, so she switched to social sciences. Thanh Ngan said: "The starting time can partly determine the result. But the most important thing in the journey to conquer dreams for me is the effort and hard work. I have many goals to achieve, which always reminds me that I cannot be lazy. Therefore, I always work hard, using diligence to make up for intelligence". Thanh Ngan said that during her studies, she also had to face a lot of pressure and fatigue, but she did not give up and always strived not only for herself but also for her parents and teachers. "I know I need to try harder. When I receive such high achievements, seeing everyone happy, I no longer feel tired", Thanh Ngan shared. Nurturing great determination for the family Born into a not-so-well-off family, the money Thanh Ngan invested in her education came from her hard-working mother who sold vegetables and fruits at the market. Feeling sorry for her mother's hard work, Thanh Ngan always tries her best every day to repay that kindness.

The journey to achieve the highest high school graduation score in Quang Ngai province for Thanh Ngan was a thorny road because of the difficulties in life. But for Thanh Ngan, nothing is impossible when she has great faith and motivation from her family. It was her mother's saying "Parents did not study much, just hope that their children can go to school, that is the greatest happiness of parents", that made Thanh Ngan strive every day. Thanh Ngan's ability to go to university was not simple. The female student confided: "I worry a lot about my family's difficult circumstances. That's why, before the exam, I was very determined to get a high score so that I can go to a public school. Because there, the tuition is not too high and I can continue my studies". In addition to achieving high academic achievements, being an excellent student for 12 consecutive years, Thanh Ngan also won second prize in geography in the provincial excellent student competition. When asked about the poor student who overcame difficulties, Mr. Doan Si Son, Dao Thanh Ngan's homeroom teacher, shared: "Thanh Ngan is very gentle, emotional, and always helps her friends. In the 2023-2024 school year, she won second prize in the provincial geography competition and at the end of the year she got 8.7 points. She is a good student in all subjects of natural sciences as well as social sciences. Although she comes from a poor farming family, she is always optimistic, completes her study tasks excellently, and becomes the valedictorian at the provincial level. As a homeroom teacher, I am very proud of her. This is also the first time in my teaching of geography that a student has scored 10 points in the 2024 high school graduation exam in this subject."
