Testing unmanned flying taxis in Mecca

According to Xinhua News Agency, Saudi Arabian and Chinese companies have successfully tested the first unmanned flying taxi in Mecca (Saudi Arabia).

This test was conducted by Front End Limited (Saudi Arabia), a company specializing in integrating advanced technology into many fields, in collaboration with EHang (China) autonomous aircraft technology platform company on June 12.

The aim of the test is to improve the speed, efficiency and sustainability of flying taxis during the Hajj - the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.

Saudi Arabia's Civil Aviation Authority Chairman Abdulaziz Al-Duailej said the test marks a major step forward in integrating advanced mobility solutions into Saudi Arabia's aviation sector.
