Collected over 14 billion VND to the budget from land auctions

Each plot of land has an area of 86m2 to more than 250m2, starting price from 800 million VND to more than 3 billion VND/plot. The total starting price of 58 plots of land is more than 100 billion VND.

The land plots are intended for residential use with a long-term use period. The infrastructure of the two auction areas has been invested in synchronously by Phu Yen district, completing the traffic routes, electricity system, drainage, flower beds, trees, and embankments.

Regarding electricity and domestic water, after winning the auction, the auction winner will directly contact Phu Yen - Bac Yen Regional Electricity and Son La Water Supply Company - Phu Yen Branch to sign a service supply contract according to regulations.

As a result, 8 plots of land were successfully auctioned, with a total area of over 900m2; the state budget collected over 14.2 billion VND. Including: 7 plots of land in Dong Da Urban Area, collected over 13.1 billion VND; 1 plot of land in the expanded 02-9 Urban Area, collected over 1.1 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Dai Dong, Deputy Director of Phu Yen District Land Fund Development Center, said: To attract individuals and households in need of land in the district to know and participate, 1 month before the auction, the Land Fund Development Center publicly posted the notice of land use rights auction on the district's electronic information portal; broadcast the notice on the district's radio and television system; hung billboards on some main roads and at auctioned land plots.

The auction is conducted in a direct multi-round voting method with an ascending price. The auction process is carried out under the close supervision of the environmental resources, justice, financial planning agencies, tax departments and other relevant organizations and individuals, ensuring publicity, transparency, and compliance with processes, procedures and order.

After the auction results are announced, the People's Committee of Phu Yen district will issue a Decision to recognize the results of the second auction in 2023. On that basis, the Phu Yen District Land Registration Office Branch will prepare a dossier, transfer information on the financial obligations of the auction winners to the tax authority; print and submit for signing the Land Use Right Certificate for households and individuals who have won the auction and fulfilled their financial obligations according to regulations.
