Promote the use of energy saving and efficiency in enterprises

Dak Lak Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry and Trade) in collaboration with the Center for Research and Development on Energy Conservation (ENERTEAM) of Ho Chi Minh City organized a workshop to promote the use of energy saving and efficiency for enterprises, industrial parks and industrial clusters in the province.

Representatives of units and businesses attended the workshop.

Attending the workshop were representatives of localities and more than 35 businesses and project investors in Dak Lak province.

This is one of the activities under the National Program on economical and efficient use of energy for the period 2019 - 2030 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , implemented by the Dak Lak Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion this year.

At the workshop, speakers from the Center for Research and Development on Energy Conservation (ENERTEAM) disseminated messages on economical and efficient energy use and solutions for efficient energy use in enterprises.

Representatives of Dak Lak Electricity Company shared some solutions on safety in using electricity, saving and efficient energy. In addition, representatives of enterprises participating in the workshop also exchanged, discussed, gave opinions and had experts answer many issues related to how to use electricity and energy safely and economically in the production and business process.

Mr. Ma Khai Hien, Director of ENERTEAM, shares the orientation of green transformation, optimizing resources and improving competitiveness for businesses.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhiem, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, informed that the use of energy economically and efficiently brings great benefits to businesses, while also bringing practical socio-economic efficiency, contributing to environmental protection, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and ensuring national energy stability. And promoting the use of energy efficiently will create dual benefits, helping businesses improve their competitiveness while helping the country move closer to the goal of building a green, circular, and low-emission economy.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade hopes that the business community will continue to accompany functional sectors and local authorities in implementing strategies and orientations for energy conversion and using energy economically and effectively in the coming time.
